New Release - 2016 Aleksander Reserve

February 19, 2021

Composed of 60% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Cabernet Franc, 5% Malbec and 5% Petit Verdot, the 2016 Aleksander Reserve certainly makes its case to be perhaps our most complex wine to date. The older sibling of the very well received, and much softer 2016 Aleksander, the reserve perfectly complements and rounds out our successful 2016 vintage. On the nose, it offers subtle hints of perfeclty ripened dark fruit and leather. On the palate, it also offers dark fruit and leather with some additional hints of tobacco and earthy notes. Aged in barrel for a total of 42 months, or 3 and a half years, this wine is ready to drink now, and to be put away in the cellar and track its progress every so often. Please let us know what you think of this wine by replying to this post. Cheers!
