In the glass, the wine is a bright ruby red, likely due to the 63% of Merlot in the blend. The nose is greeted with a bouquet of red and dark fruit, in particular plum, black cherry and raspberry. On the palate it is much of the same, as the fruit notes remain dominant. However, the complexity of aromas brings through elegant hints of leather and tobacco, attributed to the 36 month elevage in a unique barrel selection. This wine coats the palate with bright acidity and silky tannins, and the finish is everlasting.
